Kris Huston

Kris Huston's began her love of music as a young child singing hymns in church. She developed a passion for theater in elementary school and performed, choreographed, music directed, and wrote shows all during high school and college. Graduating with a BA in Vocal Music, Minor in Theater, and Masters Degree in Theology, Kris enjoyed many years of professional church work as a Music Minister in various large churches around Orange County.

Along with teaching at a college level, touring with her own band, and performing as a professional singer throughout Southern California, Kris has written and recorded multiple original albums and her worship album can be found on iTunes and Spotify. She has directed national award-winning elite theater teams and her students have gone on to work as leads in multiple National Tours. 

Huston Performing Arts which began in 2012, holds a special place in Kris' heart and through her leadership and inspiration has grown into a place where kids and adults can explore, develop and blossom in the performing arts world of music, dance, and theater.
